I, Howard Wilner have the 2001 Volkswagen Beetle turbo, and the turbo spoiler never seems to go up, (I can't hear or see it, do not get the indicator light that it is deployed) even at 90miles per hour. The indicator light does work if I put the spoiler up manually while parked. Dealer gave me some bull story that the light won't indicate when driving and that it shows for manual function only. End of story: I don't think this works properly, but couldn't make headway.I heard from another driver that there was a recall concerning the headlights. I need to find out more and take to the dealer for this replacement under the recall. You all should too.( WILNER HOWARD won't off-road)

The safety advantages of high quality snow tires (as needed) and a low center of gravity (in all cases) got lost in translation. Ready to capitalize on the AWD's popularity: the economy-oriented Toyota Matrix and the Subaru Impreza. Both diminutive scramblers aren't nearly as cheap or efficient as their front-wheel-drive cousins, and they won't off-road, tow a boat or carry seven passengers. Very lucky to have found this MG and can you believe it; "in my own local". I am the third owner and I have the original paper work on the MG. I previously had a Midget 1978 and have always regretted selling it. Now I have a B and will never ever sell. My nine year old son also says he will never sell it.

Traction control 2009 Volkswagen Routan and electronic stability control will be standard. Seventeen-inch tires will be standard. Volkswagen says it has tuned the Routan for European ride and handling characteristics. The engine choices will come from Chrysler. The base engine will be a 197-horsepower 3.8-liter V6 and the top-line engine will be a 253-hp 4.0-liter V6. VW will not use the 3.3-liter V6 that Chrysler uses as its base engine. Both engines will be mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy numbers have not been released, but we expect 16 mpg city and 23 mpg highway for the Routan, just like its Chrysler counterparts.

These are great cars. They can take a beating and never break down. The engines are a great motor with good torque, but they suffer at high speed. eg at 100kph you are pulling 3000 rpm, hence the shocking fuel economy. Even when driven easy, it still will never get over 375km to 50 litres of petrol.

The interior features inventive storage, an air conditioner with a pollen filter, and a spectacular sound system. The sound system includes a 6-disc CD changer with seven speakers throughout the SUV. Power windows and locks, cruise control, a tire pressure monitoring system and the available moonroof round out the already feature-filled interior. Tinted windows protect the driver and passengers from harmful UV rays, while available leather-trimmed seats create an even more luxurious environment. HOWARD WILNER at the North American International Auto show => Introduced at Detroit's North American International Auto show in January 2008, the ultra-high-performance CTS-V is the latest creation from Cadillac's Spec-V performance group, which was launched to develop sporting luxury cars to compete with imports such as BMW's M cars, Lexus's new F series products, and Mercedes-Benz's AMG line. The CTS-V is based on the all-new Cadillac CTS sedan, which debuted in the fall of 2007 to critical praise from many quarters.
It is hard to imagine that such a small truck has such power and performance. However, just by glancing at the Ranger 4WD, consumers get a hint at what lies beneath. The compact truck has a sleek and simple design. Exterior embellishments are kept to the minimum, and the angles are smooth, not severe. The grille is really the only place where Ford lets the Ranger shine bright. The grille looks like a mouth and flaring nostrils, as if it is a bull ready to charge. An 8 or 9-foot bed length is available as well. Fog lights and chrome accents can be added too.

The 4-wheel independent suspension gives the Tribute the agility it needs in inclement weather or on windy roads. A 4-speed electronic automatic transmission provides the owner with total ease of driving. The Tribute can be fitted with either a 2.3L DOHC 16-valve 4 cylinder that gets 153 horsepower or a 3.0L DOHC 24-valve 6-cylinder engine that reaches up to 200 horsepower. Three trim levels are available: Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. All are great options, but the Grand Touring makes available the most added features. The Tribute is listed for between ,920 - ,540 depending on the trim level and additional packages. Roll stability control protects the driver and passengers from tipping over in the event that the driver loses control. In addition to far-out concepts for the real road and for the virtual road, many companies introduced fuel-sipping improvements such as Toyota's gas-saving valve engines, a diesel-powered Volvo that gets 52 mpg, and electric vehicles you can buy right now.

Better to produce cars -- no matter how long it takes -- than too many SUVs. Its Orion Township Michigan plant, in comparison, takes staggering 65% longer to make a car when compared to the best, ranking it last in overall efficiency.
I recently went back and for to Ohio twice within a month with my 2000 Dodge Caravan SE. The pan on my transmission had become loose sometime before this without my knowledge and as a result my transmission was loosing fluid. The hardship of the mountain travels so often in a month caused the transmission to slip. I parked the van for 2 months until I could afford to fix it. We drained the fluid and changed the filter and that is when we discovered the pan was so loose that if I had continued to drive it, it would have fallen off. I own a 2000 Caravan.What can I say!!The most unreliable vehicle I have ever own.Will you buy again from this manufacture!!NOT on your life.Nice service to.I have gone through 4 serpentine belts in 10 months and head mechanic each time says its regular wear, WHAT THE ____I don't think so.Are these people on drugs!!!Does not inspire confidence in a product if you replace a serpentine belt 4 times in 10 months.All I can say is that's crap!!.Not to mention all the doors are misaligned, rear bumper rubs on rear door, they keep resetting the computer to get normal fuel millage, rear end is 2 inches to the left, and so-on.

I own a 96 XLT. It has power windows, locks, cruise, 4wheel ABS, power lumbar, cd, tilt, etc. It's a step below the eddie bauer, I'm simply missing the leather and compass/ garage bin mounted on the headliner.I have yet to experience any negatives with my ride. It has the 5.8 windsor, excellent for offroading and towing. And I only average a few miles less than the good ole 5.0.Recently it has been averaging about 16mpg in town and close to 20+ on the freeway. It is currently running on 32inch BFG Mud Terrains which in my opinion are the only tire you should run on this rig, but that is only my opinion.

The interior is really spacious and the estate will swallow almost anything. Again, interior styling is of a high quality and very efficient layout.For the amount it cost me (00) I don't think Howard Wilner could have bought much better - I really like this car. When buying, make sure that the car has been maintained well - mechanicals and body. Treated well the 240 is one of the best. Marketing mishegos aside, "Piech's folly" is a superb car: relatively quick, preposterously quiet and completely comfortable. Lest we forget, VW Chairman Ferdinand Piech is something of a master engineer. He was directly responsible for Porsche's 917; a race car so dominant they canceled the entire race series. Piech also willed the Bugatti Veyron into existence. The Touareg V10 TDI was born from the same world-crushing crucible as the Phaeton and the Veyron. So, how does the uber-oil burner measure up?
